MAURO SHOLO: An authorized biography

On January 29 th of 1977, an errant spirit was born in the province of Cordoba. Controversial man, questioned, some times not fully understood, he spent eighteen years trying to figure out what we all ask ourselves at least once: What is the sense of my life in this place? The “what for” of his life, became a cause, in his distinguished mark. Barely 18 and on his own words, he fellt how “...the strength of nature...” woke up in him, the reason for being alive and the price of freedom...

Involved in his task of searching and discovering, he found on his travel bag, the chance of proving what ordinary people denied to him: the right of thinking differently and acting against conventional ways; so he started in a “road movie” way, an initial trip that wouldn't stop on the first mile. His eyes perceived the freeze of snow in Chile, the friendly hand of strangers, the warm Lighting of Nothing in Punta del Este, Uruguay, and many other places...all under the secret charming of the hitch hiker, the one who makes of his own life a cumulous of unplanned, not even foreseen choices.

That one is Mauro Sholo, a lonely guy, who knew how to find in music the means of expression wich softenes the fall of the tired ones. His music is that, a blasam for the hidden and beaten, a flower that explodes in the corners of the heart that each one of us who have the pleasure of listening to his melodies. That is Mauro Sholo.
